It isn't automatic. One of the threads in GD reached the mark earlier this year, and Murrin and Avatar were proactive about catching it. Since neither of them visit here very often, well, I'll bring the popcorn. (I don't think anyone actually knows what happens, but I doubt it's anything too catastrophic. Probably. Maybe.) We could invite Av to the party, but he'd probably think it's a trick to get him to post here.
