Very cool, Av. That sounds like a great vacation.
I agree about clients and the end of the year rush. Ugh.

Well, it's better than work, that's for sure.
And yeah...damn clients...

Lucky you. Thursday for me.
The end of year malaise has definitely set in.
And I see the board has been unconscionably quiet as well.

Yes. Yes it has.
Cat was chattering at a bug on the wall that she couldn't reach. Lifted cat up to dealing-with-bug-level. Cat took an enthusiastic swipe at bug. Bug went flying. (Wasn't a winged bug.) No idea where bug went. Suspect it's in my hair.
And it's still not Friday.

I didn't work today but I am here nonetheless. Very exhausting day off but it's a good tired.

If it's exhausting, I don't count it as a day off.
Friday at last, hooray. How time flies when...well, it flies.
Happy bug hunting Sorus.

The bug is still MIA. The cat seemed to think she obliterated it when she swatted it, so I think I'll hop on that train, delusional as it is. It's Friday, and I somehow survived this week. (Not entirely undamaged. Multiple conversations with my minion about not leaving heavy things precariously balanced on the tops of ladders. His reply: "That's how I do it." This led to a week of arguments. I won, but he isn't speaking to me now. That's fine.)

Helping out a friend with some suggestions for his online business, so since I was online, thought I would pop in.

I did a double-take to make sure it was really Saturday when I saw you were on.

Read this to my kids. they were amused.
I think I was more amused about the way your cat successful got you to pick her up to dealing-with-bug-level.
Humans: occasionally useful.
I had my math class today.
I fretted over how to prepare for it a bunch, but then was elated over actually teaching it. (and afterwards)
I still feel like I've felt for the last few days - generally overwhelmed by life!

Sheesh, sometimes I swear my life has devolved into being useful to fecking cats.
Ah, Monday. How uninspiring.

They started playing Christmas music at work today. That's two weeks early. TWO WEEKS. I haven't even had time to work on my plans for sabotaging the speaker system. I think I may switch tactics and just gradually turn the volume down a little bit every day.

I've been insanely-emotional today and yesterday.
some idea of what's going on, though...
I was reading a section about "margin" and creating margin in a book I have, and it's very convincing. (in the it-encouraged-me-for-real way, not the sarcastic way)
Sorus- Sighhhh...
Av- D'oh.

Also, update on small mammals I care for at my house- my 7-year-old son requested to see this story TWO more times today, and then, "Can you copy it and paste it into TextEdit?"
So, like, really popular with that one. <3
I will laugh if you write a bestseller that shows up in the Children's section of libraries and is a book of snarky stories about cats, humans, and the bugs they wear.

Should add the bit about the cat thinking it obliterated the bug.
I sometimes amuse myself by imagining what the cats think of our antics.
I feel like it's Tuesday, like there is a month to go before I get leave, and that there are things that I have to do that I have neither the desire nor the inclination to do.
Woe is me.

Oh, yeah.
ahh, non-standard emoji for free... alright.
hmmm... I'm getting stuff done today. that's good.
dishes finally in dishwasher and not on counter, actual no-knead bread made because I haven't made bread in months and months although everyone loves it, kids repeatedly reprimanded, all toilets unclogged, ....wait, there's a reason I don't go into detail about what my day is like!
anyway, little one has seen your post and is asking "Can I see the emojis and stuff that Atomic put?"

I have never made my own bread. It's so good fresh out of the oven, though.

That's not something I've ever really considered doing. But I'm pleased that he found it entertaining, and I will attempt to keep my random feline anthropomorphism family-friendly.
