Well, I think this is pretty cool. I think a new spiffy Forum like this is just what we need to make Kevin's Watch better then ever. So what do you all think? What should we add? Give me some time to get everything set up though, I'm still learning all of the new ropes.-jay
Wow I thought I was adaptable!!

Good 2 c Jay here, don't feel so lonely, sniff, anymore. Hey Jay I know we can do individual polls here but can u do another general poll and the Quote of the week? Is there some way 2 get the glossary, covers, etc over here or do u have 2 redo them? I know still alot of work 2 do and w/school and all that. If there's anything I can do 2 help--please let me know. Would also like 2 help out as a moderator, if u need 1.

Well, the actually "site" content of Kevin's Watch is staying put. There is no need to move all of that. We just moved the message board. And yeah, I hope everyone else coems back soon. I also hope I can get the colors and themes back and working to make this place look like home.-jay

I made 2 quick mods:
1. The "Servant of the Land" identity for registered users
2. The "Stonedownor" identity for guests/unregistered users
I'm a Cancerian so I'm all for the "home touch" thing

Thanks.

Heh, thanks, offcenter. I was trying to make those Modifications myself, but I couldn't find out how. It will take me a while to get used to this new system.-jay

Is there a button I havent pushed?? .. and should push?? I can only get the TCTC forum and the Misc forum .. anyone any ideas??
I am positive it must be something I have or have not done .. that I should have .. or alternatively should not have done??
anyhoo .. I'll check back in later to see if anyone has any clue why I cant click on the Gap pages or the Mordants Need pages .. I was sure I saw them here before ..

I think it has something to do with the kevwatch template - instead of the subsilver one that is available to you as a selectable option when you register.
I reset yours to the default - let's see if it works

All better

Hey Skyweir. I set you up to be a Moderator/Lord of the Thomas Covenant Discussion again. I don't know how or if we can reset your post count to reflect the old message board. Any ideas, offcenter?-jay

This has been very nicely done. It will be a pleasure to access this site. I hope to get involved with the forums a little more often in the future as well.

...and that would be Offcenter and his Jay-ness, aka KevinsWatch.
What would it take to get a "Next Topic" button? If it's not possible, no biggie, it's just that I get a little lost when I read down to the last post in a thread and then want to go on to the next topic. A "Next Topic" button would make that next topic a simple click away.

Well, as usual Offcenter and Jay have come through again!
I never noticed that quiet, unassuming little link in the upper righthand corner, but there it is just waiting for me to click!
Thanks guys!!

This forum is so cool! Much better than the old one...the lack of ads is a blessing. And I love the header on the forums index page, with the white gold ring...and the little pic at the top of the page is pretty cool too. What is it supposed to be, anyway? The One Tree?
Anyway. I like it.

My vague memory recalled that the One Tree was a scraggly tree but I forgot it was tucked away in some deep dark cavern (or something to that effect)
I'm working on a version that's a lot more interesting and potentially appealing/correct
Thinking along these lines

What a beautiful and striking picture, Offcenter! Are there more like this somewhere?
