Clerks II

Good movie. I laughed pretty hard. Definately not one for the kiddies, though. And I can easily see some people walking out at certain parts (diehard LotR fans and animal lovers, for instance ;) ).

I caught a 4:40 matinee showing yesterday. There were two other guys in the theatre (all of us by ourselves, funny). And man, sure enough, one of those guys has the large popcorn, soda, and candy and sits right frikkin' behind me and starts chowing down (I hate hearing people eat). Arrrrgggg! Gave up my primo seat for one a few isles closer.

I probably won't see this one 37+ times (the point at which I stopped counting how many times I'd seen the first one), but it was good.

"It's interspecies erotica, f*cko!"

Loved it. Laughed my butt off so many times I lost count. Loved the description of the LotR movies, "They're three movies about walking!". Loved Jay's tribute to Buffalo Bill. Loved Silent Bob's deep analysis.

Not as good as the first one, but still excellent.

It was wonderful. I've seen it twice. It's no Clerks, and Kevin Smith really should stay away from writing anything sentimental, but it's completely made up for in the Pillowpants discussion... Randall's face during that was priceless.

Oh, and Jay... yeah. I love him so much.

Oh that was great!

I have no idea why Jeff Anderson doesn't act more, I think he's funny as hell.

Which one is Jeff Anderson, Cail? Is he the guy that works in the video store in Clerks? If so then I'm inclined to agree-he really is hilarious.

Can't wait until it comes out here. Until then I'll have to amuse myself with my Clerks Special Edition DVD.

It's ok. I'm taking it back.

(sadly, Wanda Sykes still isn't funny... yet good for the part)

I missed half that exchange. The whole theater was hysterical when he dropped the pm-bomb.

Yeah Tazz, Jeff Anderson was Randall, the guy that worked in the video store.

Definitely not as good as the original, and we all knew it wouldn't be - but still pretty good.

Really, really, really funny, and Rosario Dawson, too.

Well, I actually thought it was funnier than the first one. I laughed so hard I cried maybe 5 times during this flick. I agree with what others have said. I have no idea why Randall hasn't been featured in any other movies. He kills me.

Never seen either Clerks, but I keep being told I look like Dante, whoever that is.

Are insanely hot women attracted to you for no good reason?

Sometimes, yes.

Hmm, I'm beginning to approve of this comparison.
