I can't wait to see Comedy Central's roast of William Shatner tomorrow (Sunday) night.
All of there roasts are hilarious...and uncensored. If you have watched any of the roasts previously, you know what to expect.
(At least they have been uncensored in the past.)
The last one that they had was a roast of Pamela Anderson.
This is going to be good!!!

Shatner is the first person to make fun of himself, so I imagine it'll be no holds barred.

One of my best memories of William Shatner was the SNL skit where he was the guest of honor at the Star Trek convention and he asked all of the Trekkies why don't they go out and get a life.
That was a great skit...

Best William Shatner moment ever.....
Singing "I Want To Sex You Up" for the MTV Awards in the early '90s.

I recall Shatner on a SNL-esqu show from the late 70s-early 80's called Fridays. He was freakin' hilarious. He was pretending to be Kirk trapped in the moment of the show, completing the mission of doingthe skits and hosting, to sove some crisis.
The "man in pain " was funny!

Ok, so who watched this? (I stayed up a couple hours past bed time... worth it)
Betty White was my favorite, and all the gay jokes directed at Sulu were even funnier by the fact that he couldn't stop laughing at each one.
Anyway, it was awesome. I think it may have been better than Pamela Anderson's. I really hope it comes out on DVD.

Thought it was pretty good.
Andy Dick is a strange, strange man.

Yeah, what a wierdo. Otherwise, I thought it was the funniest roast I've ever seen! Are these available on DVD?

It was funny from start to finish. George Takei nearly stole the show.

Takei was an awfully good sport about the avalanche of gay jokes.

Nichols was a great sport also, there were some racial jokes that could've caused problems (as was evident by some of the faces of black audience members.)

Damn. Now I wish I had cable. If they don't put it out on DVD, is it gonna play again so someone can tape it?

Rats! I missed it, too. Just not a regular viewer of the Comedy Network.

I saw it last night.
TV hasn't made me actually laugh so hard that my sides started hurting in a LONG LONG time.
It was awesome.
