Green Arrow or Green Lantern.(A tie in my mind) Hal Jordan coming back was a dream come true to me. And, to bring back the Green Arrow series and have Ollie North again was marvelous!!

Unfortunately, it wasn't delayed long enough. Not surprisingly, this is yet another fiasco that can be tied to the Carter administration.....

Acts of Vengenance was pretty good

The Seven Deadly Finns (from The Shadow, art by Kyle Baker)...but the follow-up series Body and Soul also good, primarly because The Shadow was dead for 5 of the 6 episodes. Totally, graveyard dead. And beheaded.

The Grey Hulk series which culminated in The Leader gamma-bombing an entire town.

The Ragnarok story in Thor, ending with the loss of Odin.

In the Avengers, when the Masters of Evil took over Avengers Mansion. This resulted in Hercules becoming comatose, a new team of Avengers, and led directly to its follow-up series against the Olympian Gods.

I'd gor for Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet series, with Thanos becoming the most powerful being in the Multiverse.

Nevermind, I googled it.

I just bought Gruenwald's Quasar story about Maelstrom on kindle. Love this story! One of my favorites. But it has one of the things I can't stand in comics. I can't stand powerful characters saying "nigh-omnipotent". It's said a couple times in this story, by a Watcher or two. And one time when the Silver Surfer was fighting Firelord, Firelord was really pouring on the heat. Surfer had to get out of the line of fire, and was thinking something very close to, "I can absorb or reflect a near-infinite amount of energy. But I must get away." There's no such thing as "near-infinite". If something is less than infinite, then it is infinitely less than infinite.

Probably not the place for this post but I did not find a better place quickly.

Most KW posters probably will not see this in time to make their brackets. But maybe play it on your own for fun.

DC vs Marvel superhero bracket. Enjoy!

PS this is daily poll until a "winner" is declared. However it is a tight window to poll. So again most people will be too late to poll. :(
