The Game of Gods, Pantheon v. 2.0 is coming... Please register here, and choose one or two domains for your deity.

Step 1:

Here is what you need to build your deity:

Name (and titles)
Domains
Holy symbol
Dogma

Present your deities in the above format in this thread.

Note: this thread is not part of the game itself: do not write your introductions here, only the deities according to the above format!

Available domains:
abundance
adventurers
agility
agriculture
air
animals
art
arts and crafts
battle
beauty
birth
chaos
cold
commerce
conquest
courage
darkness
death
destruction
dreams
earth
endurance
exploration
fiends
fire
forests
good
hate
healing
honor
hunting
illusions
knowledge
law
love
life
luck
madness
malice

nature
night
outcasts
protection
seas
secrets
sky
stone
strength
suffering
sun
thieves
time
tragedy
undeath
vengeance
water
wealth
weather
wind
winter
wisdom
Step 2:

You will need to choose a race among which your deity intends to be prominent. Each race has certain abilities and certain drawbacks.

Available races are:
Humans (very adaptable and prolific)
Dwarrows (stout and hardy)
Fiends (generally powerful but small in numbers)
Orcs (nomads, raiders)
Centaurs (nomads, resourceful)
Dragons (generally powerful, but not very prolific)
Fey (magically inclined, sneaky)
You may choose to have your race as living specimens, or as undead (undead are more magically inclined, but usually more evil and in any case cannot reproduce).

Step 3:

Create your first prophet, by deciding name, gender, race, and titles.
Also, decide whether you would like to conduct your affairs (receive the results of each turn) via private message or email (the latter is recommended, if nothing else for me to work less ;) ).

Norn, The Weaver. Goddess of Magic, Mistress of Fate

Unbridled energy flows through every strand of the fabric of reality. Each fibre of which our world is woven contains might beyond mortal ken. All that was and is and ever will be, and the power to shape those things anew, is held in the very warp and weft of the universe itself. Access to these forces, and to the glory and strength that accompany them, comes through The Weaver.

The Weaver alone knows each and every thread, for it is she who spins it at the moment of its creation, measures the length of its existence, and then cuts it away as it passes. She alone comprehends the way in which the myriad disparate parts are knitted together to form all that we, and much that we do not. Hers therefore is the magic that infuses all that is, to gift as she sees fit.

Maeror, The Lord and the Lady; Grief. Lady of Tragedy, Lady of Tears, The Healer; The Hooded One, The Guardian, Lord of Death.
Domains: Death and Healing
Dogma: The Lord of Death weeps for the departed, and ushers their souls to the afterlife. The Healer offers succour to those in pain. The dual aspects of Maeror, together they give aid to those who suffer, on both sides of death. Maeror bids their followers care for the sick and wounded, and give remembrance to the dead.

What sort of thing are you meaning by "holy symbol"?

I'll be using PMs, as usual.

The symbol of your deity. I don't know, a crystal tear, a bloody sickle, whatever strikes your fancy. It's the symbol your followers use to dedicate places, statues and so on to you ;)

If at all possible, I warmly recommend acting via email; it's faster for me, since I can write all emails and send them together rather than being forced to do one PM at a time.

Ah, okay then. Didn't see the bit up above where you said emails were preferred. Mine is in my profile.

Right, a clarification - please, if you make up new usernames to play the Pantheon game, remember to let me know a) how you want the turns delivered to you and b) who you really are! :P

Dearest Bhakti,

While I am an observer from outside of the Pantheon, I hope you accept this gift as a sign of my high esteem for the way you have handled youself in previous incarnations.

My dear, I am as speechless as I am capable of being, I am truly moved by your gift, and I am deep in your debt.

Join us, Menolly. You know what travails can assail the good, such as Bhakti. The more that stand with love, the greater its power. I, for one, will lend my support, as no fire burns hotter than the one within the heart.

Indeed, this new world will have need of deities of all kinds, to guide it through the travails it will endure...
