Any developers here?

My company has been trying to hire 2 .NET developers for 2 weeks and its not going well. I don't know if we're looking in the wrong places or there are just no good developers looking for jobs in our area (central NJ). Anyone here develop w/.NET and want to work in NJ? Or have you had any experience in hiring developers?

Well, I'm a developer who's here. But not .NET, and not in .NJ either.
If you tell me the places you're looking, then I could give you an opinion on them.
But during the last three years, all the developers I know are resigned to job scarcity, and most positions seem to be filled through knowing someone who works at the place. So when a position becomes available, you may find no one notices it because no one actually thinks that looking will turn up something.
Word of mouth is it.
