I'm a Sagitarius :cupid: and and a rabbit. I always thought I should be a Virgo though for some reason...

You guys?

We should find a horoscope site and post ours on here and then tell if ours is accurate. I wanna see how close it gets for other people. Of course, they are so general it could work for almost anyone, but still...

I have no clue what I am, as far as the Chinese Year of Whatever goes. I am an Aquarian though. :)

Oh, and at eMode.com, there's a test to see which Zodiac sign that you're most like.

Isn't it the year 4000 in China or something? I should buy their sports almanacs!

Aquarius and Year of the Ox . . .
People born in the Year of the Ox are patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. They tend, however, to be eccentric, and bigoted, and they anger easily. They have fierce tempers and although they speak little, when they do they are quite eloquent. Ox people are mentally and physically alert. Generally easy-going, they can be remarkably stubborn, and they hate to fail or be opposed. They are most compatible with Snake, Rooster, and Rat people.
True, true!

I was reading on a website last night that Chinese culture doesn't take the attributes that are attributed to each sign very seriously in regards to an individuals personality. However, asking what sign a person is is regarded as a polite way of asking an individuals age.

May I enquire as to what Chinese astrology sign you are, Damelon. :)

I don't know much about the Chinese signs (I only know what I and my immediate family are due to placemats in Chinese restaurants  ) so did a quick google and here is what I found out about the dragon sign:
The Dragon is the sign of luck. Dragons are recognized as leaders-intelligent, gifted and known to be perfectionists. As a dragon, you are passionate but complex-with a keen wit and a good sense of intuition. You are a popular individual. You possess natural charisma and boundless energy which attracts people to you. But you lack patience when people cannot keep up with you. However you are also generous, open and honest. Luck follows you wherever you go.

Love
You commit early in life to a partner and remain in a serious relationship for a long time or, conversely, you avoid commitment and remain single

Color
Yellow, the color associated with fame and fortune.

Ideal Partner
Monkey or Rat.

Famous Dragons
Sandra Bullock, Calista Flockhart, Russell Crowe, John Lennon, Alicia Silverstone, Lenny Kravitz, Robin Williams, Courtney Cox Arquette, Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Maya Angelou, Courtney Love, Joan of Arc, Salvador Dali, Claude Monet.

Chinese Proverb
When a finger points at the moon, the imbecile looks at the finger.

Perhaps you bring luck to others, rather than to yourself?

That would be kind of useless, wouldn't it? Have you read Ringworld (The luck of Teela Brown)?
