OK, fo rme it's all a lot o hogwash, but are there any persons out there who believe certain days hold "bad luck"?
My dad was born on a Friday 13th ... so I am a little biased on the negative side of that question...

I believe election day has been somewhat unlucky....at least in 2000 and 2004.

My parents first date was on Friday the 13th so they celebrate every year. They went to a dance called "The Supersition Stomp." lol Dad is taking mom out for dinner tonight.

Is Black Cat on the menu? Served underneath a ladder on mirror shards?

I'm sure it is, but mom would just say she can't eat cat meat. She goes on and on about how she can't eat beef. Dad and I lie to her all the time and say it isn't beef and she eats it just fine lol. DOH!

Cat.
lol No, we say it is turkey, chicken or pork. It works for hot dogs, spaghetti, etc. Can't fool her with a steak. She has Alzhiemers, but she's not quite that gullible yet.

From the Pagan end of the world, Friday the 13th was considered to be a blessed day..........

Got a sister and a couple of friends who work in mental health who'd back you up on that one. Pure lunacy, if you ask me!

I'm not superstitious in general, and still less so about Friday 13th. My third (and successful) driving test was on a Friday 13th.

You also get it in call centers - the strangest people call for the strangest reasons during full moon.

our crazy folk learned to act up during the week. if they acted up on friday they would be barred from smoking all weekend. funny how that worked out.

I'm convinced that bad stuff only happens on Friday the 13th if you get into a mind-set where you expect it. Treat it like any other day, and that's what it becomes. I used to be really superstitious, but now I throw hats on the bed and walk under ladders with impunity.
Also, I have a black cat that insists on walking six inches in front of anybody who might lavish attention on it (and has yet to be accidently kicked), and if I freaked out about stuff like that, I'd never get anything done.

If my birth certificated didn't say the 24th..I'd swear that I was born on Friday the Thirteenth..under a ladder, with a black cat watching...and I knocked over a BArrel of salt...which broke a few mirrors, and my dad must have lit 3 cigars with one match (you get the picture)...Even my Mother tells me, that if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
I saw a comedian talking about superstitions once, he was saying how it's supposed to be bad luck to open an umbrella indoor, "Of course it's bad luck, if you open an umbrella indoors, you'll brobebly hit someone with it...you know else is bad luck? Roller skates on the stairs!"
