KW ANTHOLOGY II - SELECTED SUBMISSIONS

Post by variol son »

I know that you've all been waiting for this, so I won't beat around the bush. Those whose submissions have been chosen for KW Anthology II are:

Best in Show – aliantha
Braddock Pines – Lord Foul
Ghostblood – Xar
God is Alive - Avatar
Let's Make a Deal – Tulizar
Voyage – drew
Scenes from Ann Arbor – duchess of malfi
Science Fiction – Lucimay
The Machine Kingdom – Loremaster
The Mendacious Gland – Khaliban

To those who have been successful, congratulations.

To those that were not successful this time, part of me always wishes that we could've just published everything. Especially when I post lists like this. However, we were a Selection Team and so we had to select.

If you would like some feedback on their submission, please feel free to message me and I'll be happy to have a chat with you. I also encourage you to submit something for next year's Anthology.

Congratulations once again to all those successful submitters.

Let me just say I'm glad that I was part of the team and thus got to read some of these stories. There are some very talented writers at the Watch.

Congratulations everyone.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Well holy crap!!

What about the edditing that's supposed to go on...will we be contacted, or is my story good enough that it needs nothing?

Congratulations to all who made it. Also congratulations to those who didn't. Even being capable of writing is an achievement, and I know from reading some of last year's unsuccessful submissions that the pieces not included aren't necessarily lacking in quality.

Well done to everyone who submitted.

Congratulations to those who were selected, and condolences to those who missed out this year.

In reading all the submissions, I was pointedly reminded of just how creative the folks here at the Watch can be.

As variol son said, if you'd like feedback on your submission, feel free to PM me.

You do have the ban button, Jay, and the selection committee (along with the rest of us) are your peons. Think on that, and be un-dismayed.

Congrats to everyone selected! Things seem to be moving on schedule. We'll have Anthology II in the shops for Christmas after all. :-)

I've had a really bad October and desperately needed some good news. This is great.

Well done ! I'm of course hoping to receive my KW Anthology I before Christmas - the delivery delays are quite long or maybe it's because I live at the end of the world
