Hey all. Sorry the server bummed out this weekend. But I wanted to let you all know that whenever there are problems with the Watch, you are free to e-mail me at EWJim4@aol.com to find out what's going on. Or if you just want to talk. Or to just yell at me, heh.

So yeah, if you ever have any problems in the future, just send me an e-mail. I'll try to do what I can.-jay

My question, exactly.

It seems to me that whenever the forum is down, the "main" KevinsWatch.com site (as in the Home button above) remains available.

I've suggested this several times before, but this seems like a good place to post information about outages and such. Either on the main page, or the What's New page, or a WTFIGO page of some sort.

^ Yeah, I usually do that too already. Like during the whole hacker thing. This time, I didn't have the chance, though, since I was driving home for Thanksgiving during the past weekend. So yeah, www.kevinswatch.com is a good place to look for information too.-jay

But this time the main page was down as well!! Do you know why Jay?

The main page loads information from the message board (to make up the list of recent TC topics). So whatever messed the board up messed the site up. But that normally isn't a problem. And I could have fixed that problem if I had the time last weekend to get the site back up.-jay

I just registered there last night.
It looks like a good place.
More focused perhaps?

And lots of familiar names too.

Although......and perhaps it takes some getting used to but the colors and images combined with the white text make my eyes bleed!

Just more laid back, less frantic.

The style does take some getting used to, I'll agree. But we're experimenting to find a happy medium, and you can feel free to make suggestions.

Nice to have you aboard there. I'm sure Cail doesn't visit as often as he could because he's afraid he's the only conservative...

WHen that's fixed I'll join - last time I visited I almost had a seizure looking at the design.

Well, why not tell us here what would make it look better? We'll try and oblige, I'm sure...
