can somebody plz help me? :Help:

i cant grasp the timing of troys battle plan in TIW. heres my prob. in part 2 of TIW, troy makes the followin remarks.

from these 2 quotes, i figure that quaan, verement & callindrill will lead fleshharrowers army into the retreat 18 days l8r, 10 days 2 get 2 the west end of the mithil valley, then hold them there 4 8 days. i understand that bit.

previously however, troy says the following;

so this quote says that the warward has got 28 days. wot happened 2 the other 10? is this a continuity error or have i missed something? this is prolly all in the group read, but i couldnt find anything after a quik glance. thanx all.

Hmm. And then another hmm. Nope, I can`t make heads or tails of this either. Probably a mistake or something on SRD`s part. He is, after all, only human.

I believe it goes as follows:

-10 days to reach the end of the Mithil Valley
-8 days held back by Quaan and the Bloodguard
-10 days to reach the retreat from the Mithil (its a long way, ya know?)

It will take them 28 days to reach the retreat at least, so he needs the forces held for 8 days to give him the minimum amount of time to reach the Retreat ahead of Fleshharrower.

I'm not very good with military strategy. The mind-speech of the Haruchai makes strategy largely unnecessary. At all times, we all know what is needed where. We just generally throw ourselves into the thick of it, and kill everything that's not on our side. Our only concern is that we have opponents that do not bore us to death. (Like those useless hustin.)
