OK, it looks like I'm picking up a 360 this year. And I need some assistance from some KW gamers with the system. I am going to buy some games but need some suggesstions on the best of these genres:

Racing (Project Gothem?...)
First-person shooter (I have hear call of duty 3 is great...)
Family (is Fusion Frenzy 2 any good?)
Adventure (something like Jade Empire...)

and any others that are "must haves"

From what ive seen, although i dont have one;

Gears of War is supposed to be brillinat. Its a FPS.

Dead Rising is superb! Zombie horror/ slash 'em up / photograph game. I have played this and it was rediculously fun.

PGR is noted as being good by everyone that ive spoken to, although again, i cant say for myself as ive never played it.

Another FPS will be Halo 3 when it comes out. Looks Brillaint.

I have the original Xbox. I'm sure they'll release a Madden on the Xbox 360 and when they do (if they havn't already) I reckon it'll be great stuff.

oh HALO 3! .. yah, I'm drooling for that one.
Although Gears of Way fell off my radar. I will have to take a look.
I heard Dead Rising was great (gory/grusome) fun.

I know you didn't say it, but if you like RPGs Elder Scrolls Oblivion is really really good.

And Gears of War is a work of art.
