ROIFLA 14 and THOOLAH 6

More than twice the pro Linden votes than there are anti Linden votes.

I think it's just that they can't post without mentioning it Sea. ;)
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

You have to like Linden. Otherwise there wouldn't be the third series.
How is SRD going to bring the land back if Foul doesn't grab somebody who was apart of messing up his past plans.

I neither like nor dislike her. I think she was necessary to propel the plot forward.

Kind of like mustard. Don't want to sit and eat it out of the jar but I don't want to eat the hotdog without it.

I sorta agree with Ducky. In the 2nd Chrons, I didn't have anything much against her.

But I gotta say that I'm regarding her with suspicion in the last chrons. I think she's gonna do a lot of damage before she does enough good to balance it out. *shrug*

So I'm ambivalent really. :)

I like her fine...she is damaged but if TC loves her...it's good enough for me.

I voted for liking her but I would change it now after reading the gap series... sure linden saw alot of bad things, but morn went through a million times worse things and still wasn't all indesicive and insecure, at least not enough to kick alot of butt
She looked like a crowned vestal, somehow both powerful and fragile, as if she could shatter his bones with a glance and yet would fall from her seat at the touch of a single hurled handful of mud. She daunted him.

Are you saying you just read the entire Gap Series during the last 5 days? You are one fast reader. I'm lucky if I can do a book in 2 weeks.

Gads! Where does this opinion come from?! Indesicive? The woman is making choices! She is plopped in the Land, realizes that the "rulers" of the Land are d!cks and really wonders where she can turn for help. Half way through the book only 3 days passes and she has already got one Master, a Stowndowner, a half merfie/Haruchai, the Ramen and Rayhinian (sp) on her side! She has to FIGHT her way every step of the way! In the first Chrons, TC had nearly EVERYONE wanting to help him, even though he raped! C'mon! Give Linden a measure of credit!

Because I couldn't agree with you more.

Like...........deciding to go back in time, get the Staff of Law (for whatever reason) and royally screw everything up and put the entire reality of the Land in danger.......

Ok, I'll admit it, she makes choices.

They're just really crappy choices. :P ;) -jay

So too did Covenant. And Troy. And Elena. The Chronicles are full of people making bad choices.

It's quite possible. I haven't heard of anyone else commenting on the maple-flavoured aliantha or that the Ranyhyn are moose ....

In addition, the Voice of the Masters is named Dudley Dooright. (would that make him the Voice of the Mounties?)
