I notice some posters make a link that jumps to a specific post. how do you get the url with topic number, etc? thanks!!

right above each individual post you will see this (to the left above)

right click on the little image, select copy shortcut, then paste that into your post. or you can just click on the little image and then copy the URL from the address window in your browser, then paste that. either way will work.

the URL will look something like this:
