Ok, I didn't see this thread anywhere (perhaps I didn't go back far enough?).
Just saw this last night on DVD. I had heard it was pretty 'difficult' story-telling. This movie would even be interesting had you watching everthing in proper order (instead of backwards). But almost right away, you get that tingling that says, "This is going to 'end' badly"...
Dang, that poor guy. By the end you just want someone (anyone) to kill him to put him out of his misery...
Well acted. Great concept. And well directed. Can't fault it too much...

It is a great flick. You can watch it "in order" as a special feature on DVD.

I had heard a lot about this movie but didn't see it. In terms of "difficult" story-telling, surely it couldn't be any worse than The Constant Gardener or Syriana (which I finally watched yesterday).

Hey, I've got the special edition DVD, maybe I will check it out./
SPOILER WARNING!!!!
however I was thinking about the movie during my lunch (the darn thing is in my head), and I have to change my opinion of one thing:
Dang, that poor guy. By the end you just want someone (anyone) to kill him to put him out of his misery...
nope. I just realized what a prick he is! Yah, he was a pretty nasty guy before the incident (insurance investigator), but i just ralized he remains a total prick after. he is so engrossed with revenge being the purpose of his life that he can now remember, he even goes so far as to consiously commit an absolute evil: the murder of an 'innocent' man: Teddy. Ok, Teddy is not entire innocent, but he DID help get the first and real attacker. But Lenny commits his act of evil when he gets upset with Lenny's true story about him near the end of the movie (beginning of the story). He is upset that his rage will have no further outlet because he can't remember satisfying it, so he consciously decides to eliminate Teddy. He views his licence plate and makes him part of his "facts", later tricking himself!
Wow. What a pathetic and dispicable character...
great movie though.

One of my all-time favourites without a doubt.
Love the scene where he wakes up holding the whiskey bottle in a hotel room.

Hmmm, I don't feeldrunk...

yah, there are a lot of those funny moments, like when he is chasing a guy and as he cuts across to get him, realizes that the other guy has a gun and is chasing
him!
