Steven Erikson (+ ICE)

Post by Warden »

Don't seem to find any topic on Malazan (shoot me down if I've got this wrong).

Is anybody reading this series? What are your thoughts?

Personally I feel this series is awesome. The sheer scope is incredible, the magic system is different to what I've read before, I could go on and on on how this series has gripped me but lets not.

Even though this is an SRD release year unfortunately I am looking forward more to the next Malazan book (Reapers Gale) - SORRY

There's, like, a whole Erikson forum near the bottom of the main page. :D

No, but I can. Considering that Warden doesn't know about the forum, though, moving the topic there would just confuse him, heh. So I'll leave the topic here and provide a link:

Come join us, Warden.

Edit: Nevermind. Moving...

Eh. Might as well, now that i've got the links up top of the forum. Don't like shadow topics much, though.

 Thanks guys, will investigate

Even though this thread is in the SE forum and I can get to the forum through this thread I cannot see the SE forum from the Kevin's Watch Forum Index page - hence my original post.

At the bottom if the index, under "The Library", there should be a bunch of smaller links to other forums. Same with The Waymeet and The Hegemony.

Find out why I couldn't see the Erikson link - it was to do with using the "myth2" skin. I changed to "subsilver" and hey presto everything pops into view.

Yeah, that's a problem--when a mod is installed, you have to edit it into the theme, and usually only the default theme gets done. So that means the other two themes don't have the Album, subforums, &c.

Luci--I'm also the mod of the Gen F&SF forum, which is why I could move it.
