Ahhhhhhh Sushi!

Who likes it???
I'm referring not just to the rolled sushi but also sliced raw fish which is known as sashimi. I love both! Strangely I can't stand cooked fish but if it's raw I'm all for it! Raw Salmon, raw Tuna, raw Halibut all wonderful stuff and so subtlely flavored. As far as the sushi rolls go...Spider roll is my favorite (a whole deep fried soft shell crab, avacado, cucumber, a little spicy sauce). Whaddya think!?!?

Yellowfin Tuna is my favorite roll. Halibut and Eel is the best sashimi. Finish off the meal with the sweet egg sashimi, Tomago I believe is the spelling.

I hear you, Brinn. I can't stand most seafood (tastes way too fishy), but sushi.... mmmm. My favorite has to be eel (Umago?). I don't like most sashimi, but all the above listed are good (I would've liked the octopus, but it took way too long to chew... like bubblegum).

YUM!!!!! Love sushi.
California rolls are the most popular forms of sushi here, but I love Ikura (salmon roe) , the shrimp, and crabmeat (Kari). I never imagined that I would eat raw fish meat but salmon and maguro sashimi are my absolute favourites.
And yes Damelon Tamago is YUMM!!!!!!!

I have to admit, I've never been able to bring myself to try it.
The California rolls seem to popular around here, though. You can even buy them at the big grocery store nearby from their deli.

I love sushi too!! though i balk at uncooked meat as a general rule ..
i was offered raw mince as a traditional dish of someone .. but couldnt bring myself to eat it
I love eating dried seaweed .. and often have the sushi wrappers in the cupboard .. and eat them with particular asian dishes ..

While I have never tried it, I am told the deadly PUFFER fish is the best of all raw dishes... Anyone ever have it?

Raw is much, much better if you ask me (which you didn't). Little bit of cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemon. Ambrosia baby!
