Eh, the double posting thing is a guideline, not a rule.

Sky, off the Watch wrote:Things are busy here. I am focussed on wildlife rescue and wellbeing.
I currently have a galah in care with me that was burned in the fires. He's doing well.
My first bird rescue was a crimson rosella
a little girl
but she didn't survive shock. She was a fledgling and don't know how long she had been abandoned before one of our local firies found her and passed her on to me.
I am out most days setting up and maintaining feed and water stations across the bushfire effected area. It's a huge area and I set up most feed stations in land/forests adjacent to impacted areas.
I have been on black walks which is a search & rescue operation in firegrounds .. to find injured or abandoned wildlife .. particularly koalas.
But all animals. Echidnas, wombats, roos, reptiles anything we can find.
Frankly, she's been kicking a** at what she does.
(And yes, there is much more. Just thought the wildlife rescue description was especially delightful to hear.)
Request: Could someone post a
picture of a crimson rosella to thread? and/or a
galah?

Absolutely! Thoughts go out to Sky and the desperate situation that the wildfires have brought about.

sarge- I definitely googled the word.
I was like, "pretty sure that is not the word we were looking for, and now I feel like I am in on a secret."
Anyways, I hate maintaining accounts for storing pictures like Flickr or w/e ppl are using to host pictures, nowadays.
Does anyone else have one of these types of accounts and WANT TO HELP me?
Because then I can send u pictures of critters Sky's engaged in rescuing.
and u can do the "hosting" by uploading them.
(I would still be willing to make the post here that shares them.)

Have you checked out imgbb.com? Without an account, upload the picture for free, copy the link provided, paste in to a post, delete the linkage url code surrounding the image code, and post.
