From: Earth Hour-Home:
At 7.30pm on 31 March 2007, we are inviting Sydneysiders - businesses and individuals - to turn off their lights for just one hour, Earth Hour, as a sign of their commitment to reduce global warming.

Earth Hour is just the start of a campaign that aims to reduce Sydney's greenhouse emissions by 5% in 2007. The event will demonstrate how simple actions can make the world of difference if everyone takes part. And it sends a powerful message that we care about the future of the planet.

This year's Earth Hour will happen in Sydney, but we hope that Earth Hour can grow into a global campaign. If you live outside of Sydney, you can show your support by joining us and turning off your lights at 7.30pm local time.
We'll be travelling to Fort Lauderale for Passover and Spring Break during this time, but I'll double check that everything is turned off before we leave.

GO AUSSIES!

...I mean...it's a shame that we're not signing the Kyoto Protocol...and it's a shame our Prime Minster thinks that we can't cut our greenhouse emissions by much due to the fact it'll put so many people out of work (...he's such a wise man, our PM...shame he hasn't realised if we don't do something we'll all be EXTINCT so jobs won't bloody matter :P)...

...but, hey we ARE doing something. :P

I like that idea,
The timing of evening makes great excuse for a romantic candle-light dinner.
