Hi
I thought I'd best do the polite thing and 'officially' introduce myself, I've been lurking around Kevinswatch for the past couple of weeks, trawling through the myriad interesting threads and discussions ... definitely a board worthy of Stephen Donaldson's great works ..
My name is Denny (SleeplessOne will suffice though) and I reside in Melbourne, Australia ...
I've recently begun re-reading the first chronicles after I finished the ROTE and realised I'd have to wait some time before the saga could continue .. I first read the 1st and 2nd chronicles as a 17 yo, I'm now 32 and find that my appreciation for the tales of Covenant and the Land have only increased over time; they really are amazing, complex and rewarding books ...
hope all are well

Maybe not even actually, now that I think about it. Unless you're counting the Kiwi's too.

Not sure about IS but you could be right. Had no idea about Haruchai either.
Anyway, with SO, that does indeed make 8.

No she is NOT including the Kiwi's! I like Australians well enough, but we are two seperate peoples. Why, you may as well go and call Usivius or drew or Matrixman American.

Please believe that I'm not insulting you so unforgiveably.

My comment was based on the fact that you mentioned antipodeans, so I was wondering if Sea was making the same connection.

Ok. You're forgiven, but just this once.

what?! ....
It must be interesting the 'social plolitics' about all those Down Under areas. My wife (who is from Ecuador) always gets upset when she hears the US referred to as "America" ... she says, "Why do
they get to be called 'American'? They're a part of the Americas, north and south...!"
Ah, my firey latina ...
My response is only, "Habit."
Welcome Sleepless One! Great to have you aboard!
Timbit?...
