From the news section of SRD's website:
I've done a couple of podcast interviews recently (Australia and the UK). As links become available, they will be added to the "structured interviews" page of this site. I can't vouch for them because I don't yet know how to download and play them.
There is a new podcast listed on Steve's site (Faster Than Light--a Western Australian based pop culture analysis and review "thingy"...I don't know what you'd call them).
Easiest way to listen to it is to go to here:
www.fasterthanlight.org/blog/ and click on "Radio show from 30 April 2007 now podcast" link. It worked for me (used Quicktime but that's my default setting)
This interview is actually to promote the rerelease of Mordants Need. However, the interview includes some typical questions (like "where do you write" and that kind of thing).

This plays automatically through AOL as well, for fellow AOL users.

Any idea how long it would take to load on a (less than) 56K dial-up connection?

It's audio only, so shouldn't be too long.

Will give it a try when I get back from Tampa tonight.

The interview is about 10 minutes or so and does NOT include any information or questions about FR (for those of you who want to listen but don't want spoilers.)

Okay - so I figured out how to do Vodcasts today (by copy/pasting the text from the FBH site - thanks girls!). Try it out and let me know if you have any problems. In iTunes, enter this URL into the "subscribe to podcast" space:
www.stephenrdonaldson.com/vodcast.xml
I added all the videos from the 2004 Fest. But now you'll be able to grab the new ones as soon as they're available! (I cut the video into clips, burned them to DVD, and sent them to Steve today - so hopefully I can get them uploaded real soon.)

How many videos are there already online in total? My live bookmark (which is what I use for feeds) is showing 1-14, but I know it sometimes shows only the top of the list.

In the original notice about the podcasts, there was mention of "a couple" but I've only heard one....will the other be available soon?

There are 14 clips from the first Elohimfest.
I only know if the Australian podcast interview that he did. I'll let everyone know if/when the other one shows up.

There's a new podcast listed on SRD's site. There's links on the SRD official website under structured interviews or go to
www.StarShipSofa.com
Quite a lenghty interview (I think it went on for at least half an hour...maybe more). No spoilers. I really enjoyed it (he gets into a few great rants, FBH gets a great plug, there's a lot of chat about his writing career).
And thank you Star Ship Sofa...I salute you

Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you all know that an interview I conducted with Stephen just before the release of Fatal Revenant is online now. The interview originally appeared in issue 10 of Death Ray magazine and can now be found online at my website, thestarchamber.wordpress.com.
I'm sure a lot of you seasoned fans will already be familiar with some of what Stephen has to say, but I'm sure there will still be plenty to interest you - feel free to leave your comments on the site.
Thanks!
Matt
