So here I am, stuck in Scotland for another year... so why not have a UK elohim fika??? How about something in connection to the presumably silly but fun Robin Hood festival that used to be in Nottingham in August each year?

Greetings from a Scottish Kresh (oops, there goes another sheep)

Good idea Ylva, I had been thinking of organising a meeting around the release of FR, but the festival would be good too. I've moved to Nottingham now, CJ lives nearby and I think Nathan is still here as well. Plus it's only a short hop for Revan!

You may struggle a little bit with some people...CJ is in Wales just now and I think Rev is in the US for the summer. But I'll see what I can do if you name a date. :)

Ah yes, he mentioned he'd be moving there for Uni when I saw him in the pub a while back, maybe Revan too. I quite like the idea of a group all getting their copies of Fatal Revenant at the same time, the fast readers accidentally spoiling it for everyone else. Maybe we could put something together for that.

That works for me...so some kind of Octoberfest then? :) Actually FR is out the day before my birthday so it's a no-brainer what my present to myself will be this year
Hey Gart. Nice to see you around man.
Cheers! :D Never been completely gone but thanks Av

Yep, my Walesness does interfere somewhat with Midlands plans. However, I have spoken to Gart about this and, frankly, once you've been on the road for four hours, an extra hour or two makes little difference. I'm willing to travel as long as I have as much notice as possible.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, I've got a new job and will be moving to Berkshire at the end of the month. My girlfriend is staying in Nottingham for the time being though, so coming back to get FR is no biggie.

On the other hand...Berkshire is just up the road for me, so depending on where you're going to be that may make a southern meet more possible. :)

Oh for goodness sake!

Someone needs to take charge and make some concrete plans here...

Well, come on someone... Anyone?
