( I couldnt see a thread for this, and the search function is still playing up. )

Anyone been to this yet?

I saw it on friday. Awesome.
Spoiler
As the title suggest's, it pick up the story ''28 Weeks'' after the Rage virus infected the United Kingdom. The US army has now put everything back in order and refugess are returning from Spain to re-inhabit London.

Robert Carlyle plays hir role very well, both as the distaught husband and the rage infected monster.

I the scene where he puts out his wife's eyes was hilarious, and his pursuit of his children was well done i thought.

I loved the music, particulary the part when RC is running towards the boat in the opening scene.

The helicopter chopping up the infected was pretty good as well. And the ending - setting up for a third moive? i hope not.

Overall Must See.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the original. The sequel has me worrying, though, with the campy name and that teaser poster.

Although, I did enjoy this poster. Reminds me of the Combine from Half-Life 2.

Edit: might be watching it Tuesday with a friend, but he's already seen it. Might just wait for the DVD, as the critics (and my friend) seem pretty lukewarm. Hmmm.

I loved 28 Days, so I guess I'll have to watch this. :D Damn. Another opportunity for disappointment. Who's making it?

Pity.

I see it's Juan Carlos Fresnadillo...

Psicotaxi (2002) [solely director]
Intacto [international English title: Intact] (2001)
Esposados [US title: Linked] (1996)

i think it is a pretty sure thing there will be another sequel, "28 Months Later", and wouldn't be surprised if there was another after that, "28 Years Later".

A virus that would take 28 years to kill me? Good, then I've got time to figure out a cure! :P

I liked the original (mostly), so I'll probably see the sequel one way or another.

I'd argue that both 28 Days Later and Resident Evil shamelessly ripped this film off.

I haven't seen it yet, but a friend said it's one of the most "vicious and brutal" films he's ever seen. Hmm.

And I believe 28 Months Later has been confirmed...

I saw this recently... it was so intense and utterly terrifying.

It's one of those movies where I leave saying "Oh man, that was AWESOME, but I never want to see it again!"

Loved it. I'm a horror junkie so take my opinion with a grain of salt but...IMHO better than the first. Very dark, very violent, very real (as real as a zombie movie can get anyway!) and one of the better horrow movies I've seen recently.
