These lists are always good for generating discussion. I like the Top 5 A lot, but IMO, it gets weaker as it goes.

A couple of Glaring omissions:

1) Son Volt's "Windfall"
2) King of the Road
3) half of Neil Young's catalog.
4) Willie "Poncho and Lefty"
5) Steve Earle's GUITAR TOWN!!!!

Take out the dreck by Bon Jovi and Seger's "Turn the Page".

I find that what I think are going to be good drivin' tunes...end up being TOO good...I end up going way over the speen limit while I'm rockin' out!

Aside from Black Water (who can't dig that diddy?) and What a Fool Believes...I'm not so into them...but to each his or her own I say!

You're smokin' crack - McDonald improved the sound of the Doobie Bros. tremendously.

To some degree...Living on the Fault Line is their best album. Did McDonald help? Well...indisputably, but there was alot of great stuff before him---as long as Jeff "Skunk" Baxter's in the group it has to be cool.
