What Does Balon Mean?

Post by balon! »

I just sort of made it up when I was eight for an online sci-fi piloting game. But I've never thought of what it means.

What do you all think?

Balon (bay-lon)
v, intransitive: to leave in a lurch.
example: Brian said he'd bring the beer, but he'll probably balon us again.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Mithyat Vaam tells me I should keep the player in mind when I deal with Pantheon deities. This is an aspect of L-rd Adomorn I would have never expected... ;)

I assumed it was just the French for 'ball'. I think I've always subconsciously pictured you as a French Canadian who liked sports because of that. Sorry.
Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.

Me too.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
