They won't let me buy that violin back, dammit. I painted it for a symphony fundraiser that never worked out, but now they have it hanging on the wall. They have their claws in it.

I should be flattered. It's a non-profit... it's the symphony, fer fracks sake.

But I want it back. They won't take my money. Sucks to be me.

ETA: oh hay, here's what I'm doing right this moment: a link, sorry:

Good. Freaking. Lord.

I feel like I know a famous person! 8O

Excellent work, Jw. I wish I was a third that good. But I draw in words. :D

Here's two pages from Jwaneeta's first comic. I know she hates it, but I found the composition, the attention to detail, and the babe in chain mail to be worthy of posting.

That's amazing. I don't even have a copy of that. Wow, how the time flies...

You should always have the first thing you did professionally. I have the fist survey I drafted, because I asked the boss what scale he wanted it in and he said "1:20; we always do thoise in 1:20, unless the owner specifically wants it in a different scale." Well, it turned out the owner wanted it in 1:10. But enough about me! I'll scan the whole book and email it to you, or just mail you a copy of the issue if you're brave enough to give me your address.

My God! Seriously? That would be awesome. Awesome.

Soulds like a lot of work for you, though. I personally hate scanning. Sure it's not too much trouble?

I smile with joy at you.   That is such a cool thing. Thanks so much.

(PS: the week of hell seems to be finally over... I can try to find some art and collect it, if you think that's a good thing. Where to? I feel shy. Do you have a suggestion for a folder or whatever?)

shyly...

I don't mind scanning them. However, I guess I'll have to mail the comic to Lucimay and have her sent it to you, assuming she has your address.

I got the pm. Don't worry about it, it's my pleasure to send you a piece of your own history. But, I admit it makes me wonder what dating you would be like; would I show up with some flowers and a near mint copy of War of the Gods #1?

Your work is lovely, Jwaneeta. Still, I don't understand why you haven't drawn any pictures of my favorite hero, the Batman. It really would be awesome if you did. I think all artists should draw the Batman at least once. Except for the crappy artists, of course, because we don't want to see a sucky Batman.

I draw Batman a couple of times a year, when I visit schools. They always ask for Batman! He really is everybody's favorite!

(Well, except for me. Currently I have a tendre for Tony Stark. The Iron Man movie was AWESOME. :) )

I still havfen't tracked down the FBH stuff but I'll keep trying. Sorry it took me so long, WF. :)
