I've had hummus, tabouleh salad, and tahini spread before. What is tahini salad Jenn?

Did you make the falafel?

Earl Grey tea, and Trader Joe's chocolate. As I've spent two hours practically bouncing off the walls, this was in retrospect a bad combination.

Tahini salad is basically cucumber yogurt salad with tomatos and parsley and some other spices added. I did not make any of it. I had it leftover from last night's dinner from Ali Baba's Cavern restaurant.

OK, Murrin, you got me.

I know the old nursery rhym...

Pease porridge hot..., etc.

But what is peas porridge and pease pudding? Does it involve green peas? With ham as a cold spread? Or is it a hot sandwich?

Yum.

I keep forgetting, this week, to bring in a lunch. I think I'll run down to the new grocery store near work and see what they have in the deli section.

Today's lunch was a 1" chunk of Black Diamond aged 4+ years white cheddar sliced thinly and served with about 10 seedless red grapes. Mmmm...

I need to get me some bacon and bake it in the oven for some BLATs. That's a favorite I haven't had in a long time.

You guys have me craving BLTs! And while I have turkey bacon and sourdough bread, I am sadly lacking greens of any stripe, and the only tomatoes I have are the baby ones from my garden. Wanna see?

Oh Lyr, those look scrumptious. There's nothing like a garden fresh tomato with a sprinkle of kosher salt.

Heh! I bought 3 tomato plants that were grossly mislabeled. The sign said "LemonBoy" which produce 6-oz yellow tomatoes. Well, when I got home and was planting them I realized that the tag was foe Yellow Pear tomatoes. *shrugs* At least they are indeterminate, and I probably have another 40 or so green tomatoes out back waiting to ripen. And they taste good. I chill them and eat them plain like grape tomatoes. Yummo! (In fact, they were a part of my lunch today!)

And Prebe. . . Baba-pappas? Sounds intriuging!

Cream cheese and apricot jelly on whole wheat bread, a banana, and some ginger snaps. I'm saving my salad for later...
