Glasgow airport terrorist attack

Don't know if this made it to the news across the Pond, but this is the first terrorist attack on Scottish soil that I know of.

As a follow up, there was an (alleged) revenge attack just at the bottom of the drive at work today when a car was driven through the front of an asians shop and set alight.

Oh ya. That terrorist jazz. Fiddle dee dee. A small blip on the radar. Ignore it. Paris Hilton is out of jail now and that is bigger news. We even have our US pols who say it's our and the Wests fault after all; none of this would have happened if it wasn't for damn bush and lap dog blair. We had it coming anyway. War on Terror. Bleh...don't say that anymore. It will hurt the terrorist feelings and make them even madder at us.

*smirk*

Right...

Pardon, just a bit of a taste of the Tank. ;) Honestly, it's big news over here. Damn glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

I've been following this. Nasty business.

There's been arrests in Australia over this (two doctors who, if I understand correctly, were over here on work visas from India).

Well, the terrorists are indeed winning if, after they strike, otherwise normal and rational people suddenly go out and vandalize the first Asian/Pakistani/Indian shop they see. Yeah, wonderful. That's really showing how superior and enlightened we are.

A good news video story of the hero cabbie. Good comments, too. WTG Scots!

*shrug* Didn't read it. Although "not directly linked" doesn't mean "not inspired by."
