Movies: DVD vs Televised Versions

Right now ABC is having a "Harry Potter Weekend" in anticipation of the release of OoTP due this month.
In spite of the numerous commercial breaks I do enjoy watching the televised versions over the DVD's because of the additional scenes that were originally cut out of the Theatrical & DVD release(s).
Makes me wonder if an Extended version of the DVD's with these priceless and very nicely done missing scenes will be added to a special DVD set (say in a few years when the final film comes out and there's a 7-15 DVD box set.
I say 15 because there's already the bonus disks with the individual movies and so it'll stand to reason there'll be an additional disk to incorporate all 7 movies.
Still I'd love to get the additional scenes on and blended in with the theatrical releases without the commercial interruptions. These are really very well done. Any ideas, thoughts, comments...?
