Beorn attended the first meeting of the year of his school's Harry Potter Club today. Next week he will be Sorted into his house. I hope he's not too disappointed if he doesn't get into Gryffindor, but I suspect he'll be a Ravenclaw. All depending on how random their actual Sorting method is.

It sounds like they are a fairly active club. Sunday afternoon they're getting togther to see OotP. Next year, athough I see no possible way of us being able to afford for Beorn to go, they are taking a two week trip to the British Isles to tour all of the sights. I'll have to ask the club advisor what fund raising activities they're planning to help offset the cost, if any.

G-ds, it almost make me wish I was back in high school.

Just let me know if them nasty Slitherins start to bring back You Know Who. I'd just like to be prepared.

What house was Dumbledore in? I can't seem to remember from the 2nd book, which I thought mentioned it.

wikipedia says Gryffindor for both Albus and Aberforth. I don't recall from the books themselves...

Batty and some of her college friends Sorted their acquaintances into houses in absentia last year -- then made little door signs, welcoming folks to their houses, and snuck around to post them on their doors.

Batty's a Slytherin. MagickMaker would like to be a Slytherin, but Batty keeps trying to put her into Ravenclaw. I'm definitely a Ravenclaw.

I usually get Gryffindor but a few of them have given me Ravenclaw.

If it's like a "My Space" site then no... and no offense rawther not... I get enough spam (dispite promises that there will BE no spam I get them anyway) .... (it's increased since I put up a my-space page... ) then I don't... have one of those...
