The Worm ate a lot of stars.
Then it curled up and rested.
Even at rest the worm's skin is so potent it created all life in the Land-verse.
So I have to ask.
In all that time it was eating the stars...........

whatever happened to it's poop?
That's some mighty potent poop floating around out there!
Is that the meaning behind the title of "The Last Dark"?

Nope.
It's the meaning of "Shall Pass Utterly", tho.
SRD was even going to address it in the second book, but the publishers didn't like "Fatal Effluent".
They REALLY didn't like "The Reek of the Earth".

Depends on what they degenerate to.
Three Laws of Conversational Dynamics
1. In any closed conversation, the total informational content remains constant
2. The signal to noise ratio of any conversation will always increase.
3. (Still working on it.)

It's all enthopy to me man...

Anyway, I've always looked at the Worm like the 'Doomsday Machine' on Star Trek, what ever it swallows makes it longer...therefore it goes to sleep based on how much it consumes? How many other worms are out there!?
