Total Identity Change

Well, I used to be that pansy a** Lady Althea. Now, I'm Maegan Galintha, a brawn. I live on a ship, and I can telepathically communicate with Mreika, a member of a rare draconic bloodline. I've been genetically modified to suit the needs of my ship. I've been contemplating asking Fist and Faith to get one of his kind to swear some sort of Vow to me, so I can take that one into space. I think the results would be quite interesting. :)

I'm 7'8", with red/gold hair, green eyes, and pale skin. I was modified to look intimidating. Hurmph, a lot those people know. I'm exactly 11 years old, but when you've been modified, age goes out the window, to use an Earth metaphor.

To tell a bit about Mreika, she's a female "dragon", and her scaley hide is a shade between silver and gold. Her eyes are red when angry, blue when concerned, and most of the time, bright gold. :) She weighs about 3 tons, though she won't like that I said that. ;) Her reason for being on the ship is simple: "Dragons" power, control, modify, and basically are their ship. I am the dragon's and ship's protector. It's my job to destroy anything that threatens my ship.

Saka, my weapons controler, was a genetically modified tabby cat. She stands at about 3'7", has brown/black fur, and has green eyes. they turn slightly goldish when she's exceptionally angry. She's really good with laser type things. She has hands, furry as they are, instead of paws.

If anyone wishes to know any more, just ask. :)

I'm Mr. Foul. No modifications have been performed on me . . . that I know of . . .

*smile twitches at lips* Well, Mr. Foul, I doubt the Council would condone modifying Earth-type humans. They're not very useful in the fields that we work in, i.e., gathering people for the recolonization of the Alkeri sector. From the ones we tried, they aren't very useful with technology.

Hmm, perhaps I should visit your planet again to see if you people have outgrown your ridiculous ways and are ready to cooperate with Alliance plans... :)

By all indications of this human race's current popular culture, we have only become more ridiculous over the years. If I were you, I would NOT visit--unless a Pink Floyd concert was going on, that is.

Hmm, I think I'll need to get Sreth to hack into the Earth database. Or do you people even have one of those yet? :)

Sreth is my SysEng. Systems Engineer. He basically deals with the problems that Mreika can't understand. After all, a "dragon" is only so much power and flesh. Doesn't have much of a brain in there though. :?

Well, I just checked my database, and there had been an update, the Wall. I'll listen to that later. :)

You can thank Slith for getting every update he can find. Sometimes I think that boy's obsessed with this ship. He even once said that he'd like to be brawn if I ever get eliminated. A total shacking goo!

So that's where you went! You know, it would've beeen kinder to have left a note or a message when you left. :) No hard feelings though.

<<<is only saying that because she thinks that Maegan has the ability to pinpoint genetic signatures, and can more than likely find her and destroy her.

Gee...Fist is gonna have his work cut out for him if he's gonna swear the Vow to you. Although the red/gold hair, green, eyes and pale skin sound like a bewitching combination. :)

Why thank you! I don't see why he would swear any Vow to me. Do you honestly think he'd be the kind to cavort about space and work with the purpose of the Council? I think not. :? :)

An interesting proposition, to be sure! And the Haruchai have, after all, been known to go out seeking that which they do not seek, so it is not out of the question for one of us to go with you on your quest, whether any Vow is in place or not. But this brings up the question of what your quest is. We are a highly moral people (whether our morals agree with anyone else's or not is of no concern to us) and could not aid in a quest that was in opposition to our principles.

I though ravers were beings of pure (evil) spirit and did not have any genes. :)

*recoils* World domination is not a good think you know! Millions died the last time anyone tried that.

We are trying to gather willing people/creatures/animals for the recolonization of the Alkeri sector. There are four other ships working on the same thing, but there are over twenty inhabitable planets in that sector. Right now, we're just signing forms and other such nonsense. Not actually bringing people ect. Brawns have nothing to do with that though. Our "quest", as you put it, is for the good of man-, animal-, creature-kind everywhere. Considering that the Alkeri sector was wiped blank of humanoid lifeforms by the last War, it's open for grabs then. :?

I wonder how you would react to 0 gravity. Would make for more interesting fighting conditions, to be sure. ;)

Well, Maegin, glad you identified yourself. I was wondering who you were! ;)

That being your goal, why would you assume I, personally, would not want to be a part? Certainly a noble purpose!
Maegan Galintha wrote:I wonder how you would react to 0 gravity. Would make for more interesting fighting conditions, to be sure. ;)
This alone is worth going for!!! From time to time, we may attack an enemy from above - possibly a higher ledge. But what you propose is making the third dimension an equal part of fighting!!! The thoughts
flashing throughout the Westron Mountains are quite... extreme!! The excitement level has only been this high when we first found Revelstone, and when word of Brinn's battle with ak-Haru Kenaustin Ardenol reached the mountains!

I think I'll have to pull rank, and be the volunteer. What is the itinerary?

Well, Sreth's located you, so we can just lock on to your genetic signature and, to use a Star Trek term, "beam you up." You can bring whoever you like. :)
F&F wrote:This alone is worth going for!!!
Well, since you're so enthusiastic about it! :D Just say when you're ready. :) Oh, and don't be surprised if you hear a disembodied voice telling you we're going to get you, that'll be Dhralar, one of the more intelligent dragons. It's always best to inform someone if they're going to get beamed up (Sorry, we watch a lot of Star Trek; a few years ago, they were thinking that it was real 8O ), because it's an unnerving experience, even for the experienced. :? 8)

0 gravity conditions are easy to contend in, you just have to be able to remember to control your strength. You people have no problems with that, I'm sure. :)

Anyway, any time you're ready, just say so. You'll find that we're, well, odd. And please don't mention Saka's height. The last time anyone did that, she bit through their jugular vein. 8O She isn't exactly gentle towards people that taunt her. Then again, you do seem to be tactful.

I guess I'm ready to go any time you want to energize!!

I hope it's ok if I bring a taiga lily along with me. That way Taiga Tzu can join us occasionally, whenever she puts her consciousness into it. She's always looking for other Forestal-type beings, and thinks wherever we're going is as likely a place to find one as anywhere else.

Of course! :) I think she'd like Valeghil. Plenty of trees and plants. :)

You'll have to get used to Mreika constantly saying off-the-wall stuff. It get's strange. No matter how many times she asks you to, don't call her the demented fish, or you'll end up with having to play poker with her. She has a hat. :?

Ok, just be ready. :)

Ready! :)

And I'm afraid Haruchai aren't very good poker players. We don't bluff. So I'll just avoid that whole scene.

Here we go. Don't be surprised to see an eight foot tall guy at the com unit.

It'll take some time to get your computer stuff up here, but don't worry. :)

Three, two, one...
