Wow, that is an interesting bit of news! Heh. I've always heard that these folks must live as the other gender for a year, to show their commitment and learn a little more about what it's like to be that gender, before they can have the surgery. Since we likely would have noticed that for the last year, I guess we're in the pre-op stages.

Meh. I don't know them, so I don't really care. This just gets filed under the same thing as Brittney Shaving her head and Lyndsy Lohan going into rehab, I just have to hear about it day after day untill everyone forgets.

This has been going on for a long time though. Wachowski was "dating" that dominatrix who had been guiding him along the process for several years. Pretty weird. If it is a hoax, which I sort of doubt, it can't be that far from the truth.

Go Speed Racer Go!Interestingly enough, Lana will speak to the press about this -- which is rar for the Wachowskis since they're not ones to speak to the press about anything, let alone something this personal in nature. However, rumor has it that she will not openly speak about the sex change until after Speed Racer hits theaters on May 9.
Sex change shmex change. He can do whatever she wants as long as Speed Racer meets its release date.
Can't wait to see Chim-Chim in action.

Man, I can't imagine a Speed Racer movie without Racer X. How else do you expect Speed to win a race? If it wasn't for Racer X cutting off dirty drivers and hanging back, pretty boy Speed wouldn't stand a chance on the track.
