I know, I know, but it's been a good while since we've had one of these. Feel free to post your top 5 (or 10). Here be mine:
1) Starless, by King Crimson
2) Zen Archer, by Todd Rundgren
3) Rain, by Yoko Kanno
4) Chalkhills and Children, by XTC
5) Lookin' for Another Pure Love, by Stevie Wonder
I'll post 6-10 later. Gotta give those some thought.

...this was a toss-up for me with Biko...
Having seen him perform Biko in concert was the deciding factor for me. He did Solisbury Hill as well, but Biko live was more powerful to me.

Well...
my introduction to Firebird
was via Firebird/Siberian Khatru, but we found once the other members of the wedding party processed to the slower part of the fanare, that my entrance to the ending worked very well.
...and the rabbi probably would not have liked trying to talk over Siberian Khatru...

...damn...
I knew I forgot something. Hyperception will kill me, as this is
our song...

Maybe you can go back and edit your post before Hyper sees it

I find it absolutely fascinating that Guns and I are within a few months of each other age-wise, and not a single one of his songs would scrape my top 100 list, let alone my top 10.

It is an oddity. I'd put a few Floyd & Zep Songs in my top 100 and some solo Waters, too... but my faves tend to gravitate towards Dylan and the Beatles branches in the Rock n' Roll family tree, whereas yours seem to come from a harder, darker limb!
