L'shana Tovah to you too Menolly. The people who own the business that I work at are Jewish and Rosh Hashanah is a paid holiday. I may not be Jewish, but I am all about having a paid holiday when most everyone else I know will be at work. Judaism is all right.

Enjoy your day(s) off, SBG. Are you off both days paid, or just the first?

They're either Reform, or Sabra (Israeli) then.
Enjoy your day.
I'll see everyone either late tonight (early this morning), or later in the morning before Beorn and I head back to services.
For now, laila tov!
(Good night)

Reform.
Israeli Jews who are observant observe two days of Rosh Hashana, just like Jews who are not in Israel. It's the only exception to the rule of celebrating one day of a holiday if you are in Israel and two if you are not.
The two days of Rosh Hashana are considered one long day by the Jewish sages.
A happy and sweet year to all.

(Leviticus 23; 42-45)
