I was just reading my Iron Man #53, and thought to myself, "Hey, this cover's like Daredevil #53!". See for yourself:

I see what you mean. Iron man and Daredevil have the same red gloves. Bastards!

Well, that's it for me. No more heathen comic books.

He debuted in IM #52, and presumably died in #53.

or as the Clash state...
"Now the king told the boogie men
You have to let that raga drop"

Hmmm... One thing I noticed right off is that Daredevil is holding the scales himself implying that he is somehow responsible whereas the Iron Man cover depicts the Black Llama holding the scales implying that he is the arbiter of fate. Hmmm....

See DD #56, in which Daredevil defends the ladies of Victorias Secret, who choose to repay him with fashion.

Are you sure you have time for this banter? Aren't you supposed to be out there checking to see if there are any Non-watcher Watchers? I mean, I'm trusting you to keep me safe from buying insincere used books, dude!

I thought Nancy Kerrigan's mom did all fugly sewing work.... and oh, by the way, Nancy Kerrigan's mom IS legally blind, at least according to every video clip from the 9x Winter Olympics.

who were the cover artists fof IM #53?
I love the penciller/inker combo on that one...!

Gil Kane was the artist; I don't know who inked it.

Gil! Of course. I loved his work with Spider-man (yah, I'm old enough to remember...)
but his work could look pretty shabby if not inked by someone good. The IM cover looks great.

I don't recall any shabby work done by Gil himself, but I have seen a few things of his that were ruined by bad inkers.

I'm gonna take a stab at this and say that's a George Tuska cover, inked by Don Heck.

Return of the Night Phantom. Another good cover too. :-)

The Night Phantom Walks! The Night Phantom Lives! The irony here is that the 'living' Night Phantom was actually just a robot; the 'walking' one was the human.
