I'm currently taking bets from IRL friends on how long I can go without sleep. I am currently at approx 43 hours without sleep. I'm not sure if I should have posted this here or in Gravin Threndor, or what-not, but if anyone wants to get in on the pool, all spots are currently open save the following:

48 hours -- Passed
53 hours -- Passed
66 hours and 36 minutes
73.4958743 -- Holsety
88 hours -- HLT
123 hours
127 hours (my previous record.)

The closest without going over gets a prize.

73.4958743 hours.

Personally I've only done a little over 48 :( Guess I'm weaksauce :(

EDIT-Can't whomever's betting 127 in real life bug the hell out of you up to at least 100 hours or something to keep you up?

The longest I've ever gone without sleep, about 5 and a third days, was done after I learned one of my Grandfather's had to do a full week during his nearly decade long stint in the Army to see what he would, say, divulge sensitive information. I wanted to see if I could a) go a week and b) what I would do while so heavily sleep deprived.

I stopped during day 5 because I lost my colour vision, and was talked into quitting.

For the past several weeks I've been monitoring my blood pressure and pulse rates, and I'm in part doing this to see what affect sleep deprivation has upon those. I'm mainly doing it to see how long I can go, as the older I get (though I'm not that old,) the harder and harder it gets to go long periods without sleep.

I'll guess 96 hours.
Sleep is a wonderful thing. According to my wife, I apparently have the gift to be asleep within a few minutes of laying down, where she fidgets and struggles for hours to get to sleep. I don't know this for certain, since I'm always asleep when it happens.

I managed to make it 67 hours before I was convinced by an inanimate object to goto sleep. The winner is Josh, and I'll have to see what humiliating thing he wants me to do.

Probably buy all the drinks this Saturday night.

Monday will be the earliest we can get a route truck to you. I will work on getting you a
replacement container. Do you happen to recall who you spoke with or the number
the call would have come from? I am not finding any records of the call and would like
to pinpoint it so I can have a discussion with our staff.
