Ooer....very interesting. :D

One thing I never got though, why are there ice fields in northern Quon Tali? It's near the equator after all.

The main difference seems to be on the un-named Letherii continent, and I like the Luci version.

I always imagined Genabackis to be so much bigger.

The one on the Malazan forums is months old, and there are serious issues with it that have been pointed out there (like a point I made, concerning the fact that RG clearly places large wastelands to the east of the Awl'dan and Kolanse to the east of these wastelands...). IIRC, Erikson has said that Genabackis should be larger too, and in a different position (more southern, I think). There's supposed to be a very big archipelago across part of the world, but noone's sure where to put it, heh.

The Encyclopedia Malazica version is before the RG release gave us a wider look at Letheras.

I agree. It's tiny. Damn, it's barely bigger than my thumb.

Is there a worldwide map in any of the books? The maps from the first four books are on EM.

Nope. Steve has one stuck up on the wall in his office, and though a couple of people have seen it, there have been no images and no detailed descriptions.
