That's a good song! If you really have a problem reconciling the rainbow and the darkness, take comfort in the way Dio seems to sing "like a rainbow in the duck". That's what I hear when I listen to it. Amuses me greatly.

...makes absolutely no sense at all. I've been listening to this song for 20 years (and I love it), but I couldn't tell you what it's about. Sex so good it ends humanity? Could be. But apparently Joe's getting it, and he wants Steve to get it too, but no one in the band gets that Joe's getting it, 'cause they keep asking him about it.

Why is the finger itchy? Yeast infection? Who knows. If anyone can grasp the meaning of the first verse, then they're probably due for a padded room.
