Graphic Novel first?

I'm thinking that maybe some very well done mature graphic novels would do a lot to help visualize the land and the characters before any movies were made. obviously taking the chronicles into any other medium is going to be tough and there will be translation issues, but graphic novels could be a good evolutionary step towards movies ..or! OR! even better, how about an HBO type mini series? just some thoughts off the top of my head ..time to go read now!

i think a serialized format is best fitting as well either as animation or graphic novels. forget the movie... too much to cut out (unless they make it like the Lord of the Rings trilogy... 4 hours each movie - 10 movies in total!)

Since HBO is doing this for Martin's
Song of Ice and Fire, I don't see why they can't do the same for the Covenant books - one book per season, and being HBO there would be no restrictions on content. Mabe the success of FR will prompt someone out there to consider this. The series really wouldn't work as a two or three film big screen feature.
