This is a quick question: why did Stave ignore the summons of Hergrom while in Andelain? Is it because he insisted on staying at Linden's side? I was a bit confused by this.

That was my take on it.
Stave would not leave her.
Much like Brinn not leaving TC side during the Elohim questioning.
I loved that whole scene.
Basically 3 groups of Haruchai all telling the others to screw off.

Maybe Stave and the other Humbled stayed because they are still trying to attain worthyness in their eyes, from their past failures.

That's basically how I see it too. Stave stayed to be by Linden's side. The Humbled stayed to make sure they could try to stop her if they deemed it necessary. (little punks tried too, didn't they.
