Oh man, Rise and Fall was great. I just went back to my old hard-copies and read all my turns..man that game was fun! Somehow you and I always seem to end up battling each other in these games tho...

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Well I don't have a life to deal with! Not one that gets in the way of games, anyway. Too many games is my problem. Sometimes one or another gets lost in the shuffle for a few days. Heh. My reading is also slipping, but just started up again.

Migration of games
Elsewhere, or their outright death
Is disturbing trend
Little is left now
For those who read the stories
Or like to kibbitz
What about the mods?
Xar's been gone almost a year
Goat's got his own place...
Must GT now die???
Or will there be a rebirth
Of games that persist?

Your game is more than adequate. I'm having a great time. There just aren't enough players around. At least four from P3 no longer come to the Watch. Another few no longer play games at all. Pantheon was new and cool, and it go a lot of interest for a while. But I'm afraid we're down to a core group that's much smaller. And some only play one game at a time, or hold off on a specific game for one reason or other.

Murrin, HoG is an interesting game and you run it well, don't worry.
But right, it's quiet here, perhaps if there were more games and more options of different kinds...
I think I can kind of volunteer to GM something with general semblance to Aesir, Inferno and HoG, I even have a few basic ideas. Not sure about the quality though, well, hardly can be otherwise, a first attempt.
Any specific wishes? Sci fi or fantasy, the general setting. I can elaborate on a few options if anyone is interested. My personal favorite is one Lovecraft inspired, though knowing the source won't be necessary. Based around a place filled with "normal" people, the idea is for each player to play a creature from another reality who tries to make people go off the rails/understand the other kind of reality (depending on the point of view).
Also there's that old idea of running a game related to the Chrons, though I'm even less sure of my ability to handle something like that. And now that I think of it, maybe the Gap could be easier to use for something like this.
