Wait. There are people, and threads, outside of GT? There are more worlds than just that Dark Gothy Emo realm to explore!?!

Whats dark, gothy and emo about GT, exactly? It's keepin it oldschool nerd, baby. Like its 1983, second edition D&D. Except with internet.

Yeah, but just TEXT based Interwebs. None of those fancy graphics or clickable maps.

The way it was meant to be.

For those who care, I've updated this thread with the current set of games (Welcome to Demon and Balance of Power).

So what's going on round here these days? All looks very slow, and I could use a new distraction.

Come back to Vanir!
It doesn't move fast, but Odin is processing fairly regularly.

Inferno is looking pretty interesting. The GM seems fairly dedicated to a steady turn-around...

I wish I could say the same for his Dark Ages game... :(

Oh, harsh.

True, but harsh.

So anyway, I'm feeling like Balance of Power is a bust. We submitted one turn, never got anything back. Haven't even really heard much from LotG since then. He was moving, but would be back... then was never back.

I've gotten word from Montresor that he won't be able to give love to Rogue Trader for another couple of months, at least. But that he'd love to get back into it once he's freed up. If we're all still interested in continuing to play then, anyway.

Acropolis has been on hiatus, but I hear that [Syl] hasn't given up hope that he'll be able to resume it.

Odin is slowly and steadily working on Vanir.

Xar is cruising along Pantheon at his normal pace. (Were I to be so crass as to make a recommendation, I'd suggest to him that he finish processing the turn before the paperwork goes through. 'Cause after, it'll be a long time again before he's going to want to dive into that stuff again.)

'Wood's probably going to get a lot fewer updates now that Seven has some stuff going on. It was a great streak while it lasted, though. My stuff is making me be bad in DA. And Z's got some stuff slowing him down in Demon.

I suggest a deal between myself, Seven, and Z. We each agree to update at least weekly. For any / all different threads in our games, we all promise to at least get one step ahead every week. Maybe thats DA on Mondays, Demon on Wednesdays, and 'Wood over the weekend. Maybe that's just "before the week is out, we'll all have updated".

I suggest a similar deal between myself and Odin. Once a month, each of us. (I'll even extend the challenge to [Syl], just in case he's interested in coming back to us.) And we could arrange a similar cycle of submission / return dates, so that one of the three games is always active on any week. (Ideally, there'd be a fourth game for the fourth week, but we can work around that.)

'Cause really... I'd like to be all hyped about these games again. And the longer they languish, the less pumped I am about them. And for DA, that's totally my fault, and for the other games... life happens and that's supposed to take precedent over this stuff anyway. But... if you really enjoy something, you can find the time and create the energy to go enjoy it.

And I suggest that we archive off Balance of Power.

No worries. Move the threads to the archive and PM me, and I'll dump the forum.

(Same for any others that are dead.)

All games can be resurrected in full at any time, so nobody needs to be worried about losing anything. We just re-create the forum, and shift the archived threads (handily labelled by game name) back into play.

Can't you use the delete forum menu to move the topics?

BoP threads are locked and moved. You may commence the deleting of the sub-forum, Avatar.

With two exceptions - December (which ended up losing only a couple weeks), and a time of pretty serious personal crisis this spring (which coincided with the continuing inactivity of the games I was then playing) - I've been pretty close to one turn per month. I know myself, and I know I'm not going to do any better than that, so I won't even attempt it. But, really, a turn every 5-6 weeks is pretty darned good, imo.

^ Better than Pantheon anyway... ;) ^

Oh, yes. I can. (I just never actually have...I always move them first, then delete the forum.) Oh well. He had to rename them anyway.

All the threads followed the naming convention anyway. So I only moved them (and locked them).

Don't have to lock them...if the forum they move to is locked, they're automatically locked.

Yeah, but the little icon to the left doesn't show up as locked.

It offended my crazy nutbag sensibilities. Which normally would just be my own problem, but since I had the power to do something about it... I did.

And so, my problem becomes everybody else's problem.
