Impressive. My interest in fuel cell vehicles and a desire for further independence from foreign oil sources was stimulated when I caught an add while watching Heroes. I followed it up with a google search and boom here we are. The Honda FCX seems like a remarkable step forward in fuel cell technology. The fact that the company has plans to actually lease some of these cars to people in southern California for actual use is very exciting.
If this level of technology is achievable by one private company imagine what we could accomplish if it became a national priority. I seem to remember President Bush announcing an initiative regarding hydrogen fuel cell development but it was pretty much ignored. If the next president proposes such a measure I hope he/she has enough clout to get somebody's attention.
Very cool looking car too. I'd buy one even if it stank of gasoline.
