Kevin's Watch Anthology 2007 is available to buy!

Post by kevinswatch »

Read short stories written by your fellow members of Kevin's Watch.

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13757

And just so you know I'm not shilling anything, we make no money from the purchase of these books. The purpose of the anthology series is 100% to support the creativity of the writers at the Watch and to have some fun.

Hope you enjoy! Pick one up for the holidays!-jay

Are the Anthologies still available? Or are they long since out of print?

They were print-on-demand, so I think it'll just depend on the service they were using - if they had fixed terms they'd keep it going; if they're still in business.

I believe the copy I had was from Lulu Press, and I don't see it listed on their site now. I think there may have been another publisher, but I don't remember the name. Oddly enough, someone is selling a used copy on Amazon, though they don't seem to have any print-on-demand active for it.

I'm sure it's still out there somewhere. I can't remember who the second publisher was, or if it had an actual ISBN.

If it did have an ISBN, it would be indexed in Books In Print (yes, even if it's technically out of print, or POD) - which would list any and all publishers. Alas, I no longer have the resources I once had, but I'm sure someone here still has a copy.

Yeah. I checked again and Jay's account link is dead. I don't know what happened. Only Jay knows for sure.

Ah, yes, the anthologies.

I "retired" them from the Lulu site a year or so ago as a way to start reducing my digital footprint a bit, in a way. So the books are "out of print" in a sense.

I figured it has been 8 years since we published them, surely interest has waned and no one would bother me about them anymore. ;) Thanks for proving me wrong.

I still have access to the original material as PDFs as well as my Lulu account (which still has the projects saved online). For what it's worth.

Perhaps it could be re-released under a nom de plume to maintain your low profile and make the anthology available to people who lost their copy or missed it the first time around?

I wonder if we could get enough participation for a new anthology...

Poetry was always allowed.

Anyway, as a digital publication, it shouldn't ever go out of print. Shame on you Jay. ;)

I agree with Av. Poems were accepted.
Except the one's that began "There once was a lady from Venus..."

Sorry, blame my paranoia. ;)

I'm open to ideas for the anthologies, but unfortunately won't have time to help outside of my normal Watch administration duties.

I totally get and respect that - I don't use my real name online unless I absolutely have to.
