Um, I don't know what to say, really. I guess if someone was to do it, it would eventually be me. I felt it in my heart.

So, well . . .

Yeah . . .

Um, here we are, gathered 'round the good ol' time camp-fire.

So . . .

. . .

Yeah . . .

s'mores... the fine american camping tradition of taking a flaming hot marshmallow and a piece of chocolate and sandwiching it between two graham crackers.

ah, the memories of pine needles sticking to my fingers...

so... golden brown or toasty?

S'mores have got to be, by far, the BEST campfire food EVER invented...two grahamns, marshmellows and chocolate...you roast the marshmellows and put them in between the grahamns along with the chocolate....the result is an ooohiieee goooeyyy wonderfully yummy....oh my...

now i'm hungry :(

In a superior, though more difficult version, you hold the graham cracker/chocolate, in whatever device you have (or, if you're home, put it in the broiler of the oven) until the chocolate is juuuuuuuuuust melting. Then, when you put the ever-so-perfectly roasted marshmallow on it, it's just a little squishier, just a little messier, just a little better!

8O s'mores??? you americans are most definately odd-balls ;) and i mean that in the nicest of ways ;)

however this conceptual s'more .. is unfathomable to me .. its a marshmallow and chocoalte sandwiched between 2 crackers!!! blech!!

and you toast it??? :? 8O .. doesnt the cracker burn? or fall apart??

and the marshmallow just melts with the chocolate slightly???

inconceivable!! ;) lol

now marshmallows skewered on a rudimentary skewering tool <stick> i can understand!! ;) and toasted over camp fire coals .. mmm .. now thats yum! :P

weirdo's 8)

ok so who's up for a scary story???

It was 12 yrs ago .. I was on the beat in the Cemetery District .. alone 8O my partner against crime F&F .. was too chicken to join me and stayed back at base knitting bed socks .. <for me actually - sweet kid - for a rookie ;) >

suddenly!!! 8O ........... there was a loud screech!!!! as i opened the cemetery gates .. <kids were known to get up to no good in the cemetery> <so we had to do a general patrol to make sure all was quiet>

i always had an eerie feeling walking among the graves at night .. but it never detered me from my duty .. <like it did F&F ;)>

poor kid - <for a 40 yr old> ;) :| :P

i walked up the first row of graves .. looking about - scanning the area discreetly .. not wanting to wake the dead ;)

................................... to be cont.

Well, what do you expect from a village of con's...

No I am joking... I love Aussies!

I a lil gasped at the thought that their lips have not known the succulent delight that is the Smore!

Sky, the crackers in question are graham crackers, not the sort I think you are thinking of...I don't know if you have them in Oz, but they are sweet, more like cookies than crackers...we use crushed graham cracker crumbs to make the crust for cheesecakes and other goodies...
