I own my own forums over on worldcrossing.com. But they are dead slow and HTML based. I think I posted a thread with links to them in what is now Haven Farm when I first joined the Watch.
Other than that, I frequent several AOL message boards. Particularly the Asperger's Syndrome board in the Parenting Community, the Store Deals and Steals board in the Tightwad Community (mostly about Target clearance), the Kitchen Frugality board which is also in the Tightwads Community, and the Food and Home Shows board in the Television Community (mostly about Food Network).
~*~EDIT~*~
I did post a thread about them. You can find links to them
here.

I'm a member of the following message boards:
The Tower of the Sun (devoted to the works of Joe Dever)
THEM Anime Reviews (does what it says on the tin)
National Novel Writing Month (full of whining teenagers who want other people to do everything for them)
Bloodstock (the only metal festival in the UK worth bothering with, though it's declining rapidly)
Sociocide (I rarely visit this; it's full of outspoken elitist snobs arguing about political and societal issues. Yes, it's basically a less refined version of the Think Tank)
Nosgothic Realm (devoted to the Legacy of Kain series of games)
Bangor Wargaming and Roleplaying Society (my university's roleplay society)
Bangor Anime and Manga Society (my university's anime society)

I haven't been to a chat room where I actually enjoyed talking to the people there

Outpost Gallifrey - Painful. Full of pretentious Doctor Who fans and a mob of Nazis who wont let criticism of the new series exist. I haven't posted in a year since I was flamed badly.
Cenega Forums - For the UFO Aftermath and Afterlight games. I've been there almost as long as KW, and I seem to be respected highly despite the fact that I post once or twice a year.
Silent Hunter III & IV - I am not much of a presence there, but it's a great community.

I used to be quite active on the Lamerkatz forum, but it's dead now.
The only forums I'm active on now are this one and the SomethingAwful forums.

I did actually think of the Hangar, but since I post there once every couple of years it would have seemed wrong to mention it.
In case you're wondering, my visits to the Hangar are so rare because I'm not familiar with most of the things discussed there. The few discussions I can participate in tend to be Donaldsonian in nature, and are therefore usually repeated here anyway.

I could, but I can't cook. I'd be there purely as an eater, and since it doesn't contain any actual food...

The only other one I'm a member of at this time is the Hangar.
I have bookmarked, and I lurk occasionally at
the TDIclub which discusses diesel cars. That's it.

Food appreciation threads are always welcome.
Stone occasionally posts reviews of cafes and restaurants he frequents in the What's for Dinner? thread in the Galley here. Even just posts about what you ate in the various What's for...? threads may inspire others in their meal prep.
We would love for you to join us...

eehhhghghnnn...i visit and post alot on the abc.com LOST General Board. There are alot of thematic similarities between LOST and SRD's TCoTC..imho.
Due to being a " commercial "site, moderation is weak there and Kiddies have their moment but are eventually deleted. Like all, except here, chats and boards , there are a few psychos, trolls, sufferers from multiple personality disorders ( MPDs) etc,,but the site is visited by TPTB of LOST and yes, everynow and then there is something in the show LOST that is a tribute to what is being discussed in the LOST General Board. Its Fun.
