May I say Happy New Year to you guys

We in Nz will be sleeping off our new year's hangovers by the time most of you will be seeing it in

I for one will be spending it with loved ones and getting slightly trashed and will be smoking my customary cigar (which is something i shall regret in the morning) How will you be seeing in 2008?

Well since 2008 is a year without a new Covenant book, it already is starting sucky...but I'll try to unsuckify it by having fun with friends - although I refuse to watch the ball drop in New York on TV...by the time we see it here it like had dropped two hours ago...seems wrong. Have a great New Year!

Got an invite to a fancy-shmancy ball in DC. I'll be rubbing elbows with the rich and powerful.
And mocking them.

Mock carefully. If you do it too well, they won't understand it's an insult.

I'll make sure I mock slowly.

Beware your pronunciation, also. I hear they don't speak English in Washington.

I have an invitation to go out for a New Years Party, but tomorrow is the last day of indoor smoking at public places in Illinois, so I have the feeling that the air inside will be so thick that the air could be cut with a machete. So I'm undecided about it.

Go. GO. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GO BUY A CARTON AND SMOKE INDOORS WHILE YOU CAN.
I was in Florida the day they changed the law. I did just that. It was worth it.

Boston is the Land of the Bean and the Cod, where Lord Mhormam speaks only a Leper, and that Leper
calls upon Nom

I was invited to attend a party and then to go to the beach to watch the sun rise. I turned both down.

I might just have to have a cigar.

I was supposed to catch up with friends but I'm just vegging out instead and hoping that my start to 2008 is minus all this nausea and achy crap.
BUT! BUT! BUT!!!!!
BRING ON 2008! I can't wait. It's going to be a year to remember!
Happy New Years everyone!

I shall be at a friend's party with a load of people I don't like, feeling bored and tired. Nothing like being sober when surrounded by drunk people (I'm the driver).

I boycott New Year's. The real New Year's is your birthday. Of course, it's a moral stand I think I am totally alone on . . .
